Its trail network lets you choose a short walk or a longer route according to your time and walking experience.
Within a small area, the landscape changes twice: from the cool, damp floor of the Curone stream valley, paths climb to open ridges where dry meadows and terraces reflect centuries of agricultural work. This contrast makes the Park rewarding even for half a day.
The suggested route crosses places that are different yet connected by the same relationship between land, work and community. Each stop can stand alone or become part of a longer walk.

It houses a small natural-history museum and is the base of the volunteer ecological wardens. Nearby are the Curone stream, damp woodland and petrifying springs, where calcium-rich water slowly deposits travertine.

They are not merely decorative: they were planted in the nineteenth century to mark the boundaries of historic estates, and stone boundary markers found nearby align with the trees. From the ridge, the view reaches across the Curone Valley to the Sanctuary of Montevecchia.
Park trail no. 2 links Montevecchia Alta, Ca' del Soldato, Ospedaletto and the Cipressi and forms the backbone of this route. The times shown are those published by the Park authority and refer to walking time without stops. Before setting out, check the route on the official map and follow the signs on the ground, as the network has many junctions.
Reach the trail indicated by the property and enter the Park landscape without hurry. The exact access point should be shown on a simple, up-to-date map.
The first stop introduces the Park's work and the system of agricultural terraces. Take time to observe the landscape without assuming that indoor spaces will be open.
The trail leads down to the valley floor, where the farmstead is now a Park visitor centre. The circular walk to the petrifying springs also starts here: the Park describes it as about 2.5 km and one and a half hours, over ground that can become clayey and slippery after rain. The museum opens on public holidays and follows seasonal hours, so check before you go if you would like to visit.
From the valley floor, the route climbs towards Ospedaletto and then the Cipressi ridge; the Park indicates about 45 minutes for each of the two sections. The view at the top rewards the climb, but the ridge is exposed to sun and wind. Return to La Corte at an easy pace, or shorten the route according to your energy and the available daylight.
The Park is a living environment shared by visitors, farming activities and wildlife. A few rules help protect it and support an informed choice of route.
