Booking and stay terms

This page explains how an availability request works, how a booking is confirmed and the terms that apply to a stay at La Corte.

Who operates La Corte

La Corte del Passone is operated by Ristorante Passone Srl, with registered office at Via Passone 2 — 23874 Montevecchia (LC), Italian VAT number 01610470138, REA LC 202999 and share capital of EUR 70,000.00. You can email info@residencepassone.it or call +39 039 993 0556. CIN: IT097053A1UPSTSSNM.

How a booking is made

Through the Request availability form, you send us an availability enquiry containing your dates, number of guests and, if applicable, a preferred apartment. The request is not a booking and does not bind you in any way. No payment is taken and no contract is concluded on the website.

We reply by email with availability, the apartment we can reserve for you, the price of the stay and the applicable terms. The booking is confirmed only when you accept that proposal in writing and, where requested, pay the stated deposit.

You will then receive written confirmation summarising the apartment, dates, number of guests, price, and amendment and cancellation terms. In the event of any discrepancy, the written proposal and confirmation prevail over information read on the website.

Apartment and availability

La Corte has ten apartments, which differ in size, layout and facilities. We will take any preference stated in the form into account, but it cannot be guaranteed: allocation depends on availability for the requested dates and the number of guests. The apartment reserved for you is the one stated in the written confirmation.

Prices and payments

The price of the stay is stated in our proposal before you become bound, together with what is and is not included.

Amendments, cancellations and no-shows

The amendment and cancellation terms are provided in the proposal before the booking is confirmed and are repeated in the written confirmation. Those are the terms that apply to your stay.

If something unexpected happens, email or call us as soon as possible: in most cases, we can find a solution.

Right of withdrawal

The fourteen-day right of withdrawal that applies to distance contracts does not apply to accommodation services booked for a specific date or period, pursuant to Article 59(1)(n) of the Italian Consumer Code.

This does not mean that a booking cannot be cancelled: the cancellation terms communicated and accepted at the time of confirmation remain applicable. The statutory right of withdrawal and contractual cancellation are distinct matters.

Stay rules

The essential rules form part of the terms accepted with the booking. They help protect guests, the apartments and the quiet rhythm of La Corte.

  • Arrival and departure. Check-in is from 14:30 to 22:00; check-out is by 11:00. A quick call to let us know your arrival time is always helpful and appreciated. Late check-out must be requested from the property.
  • Identification documents. On arrival, we ask for a valid identity document for every guest, as we are required to report guest details to the public security authority.
  • Dogs. One dog is permitted per apartment in all apartments except Melissa. The presence of a dog must be stated in the request and confirmed in writing.

Website content

The text, photographs, trade mark and apartment names belong to Ristorante Passone Srl and may not be reproduced without written authorisation.

The images show the actual apartments at La Corte, although small furnishing differences between units may occur. Information published on the website is descriptive; availability, prices and terms apply only as communicated to you in writing.

Contact and complaints

Governing law and updates

Bookings are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections. The version of the terms communicated and accepted for the individual booking applies.
